The most unique side of the construction is that
somehow, the architect managed to place it on the rocks. It creates an impression that it is hanging on the air. The building has two floor. There are two rooms on the first floor. It is believed that these rooms were designed for the servants. The stairs on the first floor leads to the room on the second floor which is a spacious dome room. It is in the size of the following two rooms. Furthermore, there is a spherical dome covering the room. Corner trumpets with cupola are decorated with carved ornamental patterns on the stone. Two large openings to the north of the room connect the tomb with the cave. There is a narrow path in the northern wall leading to this place. This tomb i a place is where the Saint was buried.

Nowadays, it is one of the holy places for local residents. The monument is under protection and open to tourists. Would you like to visit Diri Baba Mausoleum. You can book our Shamakhi- Lahij tour or create your custom tour here.
